When the ‘Preview’ button is pressed, TTSAutomate will generate the WAV and/or MP3 file using the selected TTS provider and voice. The resulting file will be given the filename specified, and it will be stored in the folder indicated, as a subfolder of the output directory. The phrase will now be played.
Once the WAV and/or MP3 file has been generated, the ‘Preview’ button will change to ‘Play’. This can be pressed to play the phrase again.
If the folder, filename of phrase to speak is changed, the ‘Play’ button will change back to ‘Preview’ indicating that the phrase must be generated again before it can be played.
