TTSAutomate is available in 2 versions; an ‘Installer’ and a ‘Portable’ version.
Installer
The installer version is installed onto a computer and provides a shortcut on the desktop. Additionally, the installer version associates itself with PSV Files, the native file format of TTSAutomate. This association means that double clicking on a PSV file will open that file with TTSAutomate, rather than having to open TTSAutomate first.
Portable
The portable version does not require installation, and can be run from anywhere on the computer (or even from removable media such as a USB drive). It doesn’t provide a desktop icon or file association however.
